Position: Human Resources / Business Office Manager

like home. Edgewood of Hermantown, MN is currently recruiting professionals
for consideration in regards to the following position:
*Human Resources / Business Office Manager**
*This full time management position is responsible for the administration of
all human resource related practices and ensuring efficient business office
functions for facility staff with oversight provided by the Facility
Administrator. Directs and coordinates human resource activities to include
employment, compensation, staff relations, benefits, and training and
employee services at the facility level.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Responsible to coordinate the Human Resource function in accordance
with federal, state, and company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of employee handbook and company policies and procedures to
ensure fair and consistent application with all employee related matters.
- Conduct recruitment effort, on-boarding activities and new-employee
orientations
- Ensures employee understanding of benefit programs and enrollment
provisions
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all
company personnel.
- Maintain personnel records and all related Human Resource documents.
- Acts as a resource to ensure staff understanding and compliance with
benefit and HR policies and regulations.
- Participate with employee discipline/coaching/performance and provide
advisement to supervisors in employee relations to resolve issues.
- Responds to enquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
- Coordinate Worker Compensation documentation to ensure timely reporting
- Complete unemployment responses in collaboration with Grand Forks HR
Department
- Maintain efficient business office operations through daily activities
to include telephone communications, general filing, in-going and out-going
mail, processing monthly billing reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Responsible for data entry and use of HR Actions, including ability to
generate reports for supervisors, coordinate time clock function, and
maintain Kronos payroll.
- Provide input to management Team and actively participates in Team
meetings as directed by the Administrator.
*Qualifications:*
- Two years minimum work experience in Human Resources is required
- Strong knowledge or past experience in an Assisted Living or a related
setting preferred
- Proven expertise in providing office support in a variety of areas such
as payroll, accounting, benefit administration, recruitment, new employee
orientation and resident relations
- Bachelor degree in Office/Business Administration or HR preferred
- Excellent supervisory or leadership skills required
