HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE

The Stanley LaBounty division is currently seeking a high-energy individual to fill the position of Human Resources Representative.
This position is responsible for all hourly employment activity. Candidate will interact daily with plant employees and site leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage hourly employee relations issues and serve as liaison to the local Peer Review (EARP) program. Coach and counsel employees and managers in addressing interpersonal and behavioral challenges.
- Assist in the interpretation and application of company policy through effective guidance for managers and employees, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Drive hourly staffing activities including BrassRing management, candidate interviewing, pre-employment screening, and facilitation of new hire orientation and on-boarding activities.
- Coordinate local college relations efforts including campus recruiting events, plant tours/site visits, job shadowing opportunities, and partnership with student organizations.
- Lead hourly performance management and compensation processes, including annual wage survey administration and analysis.
- Manage Stanley benefits program locally, assisting with benefits-related questions and annual open enrollment process. Partner with corporate benefits team as necessary.
- Champion site communications plan by driving understanding of SFS2010 to the hourly associate level; maintaining the LCD communication screens, employee bulletin boards, Kaizen Wall of Fame; and WIN Award visibility.
- Participate in the Employee Activity Committee.
- Assist HR Manager with organizational development, planning and creation of HR processes to build organizational capability for the Division.
- Other projects as assigned.
Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, along with 1-3 years HR
experience in a manufacturing facility with exposure to lean techniques. He/she must possess a working knowledge of
employment law and industry best practices; be capable of influencing senior-level leaders to drive HR initiatives
and have a proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization.
Candidate must demonstrate advanced MS Office skills, possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and
attention to detail and be results oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
