Elissa Hansen, President and CEO of the Northspan Group, will share with NHRA how to attract and keep talent!

If you are a business owner, manager, or do hiring, you know you or your company can have the best business plan in the world, but it doesn't mean anything if you can't find the right people to make your vision a reality. Let's fact it; the old cliche is true - it really is hard to find & keep good help these days!

This is the reality for many markets and industries, but here in the Northland we have the extra challenge of our location not providing a large pool of resources to draw from, which means we actually need to find people willing to move to our area. Then once you do find that amazing person, you need to convince them to stick around through our sometimes challenging Northland weather, not to mention their other family members trying to find work.

Come to this session to understand what it takes to find and keep great talent in today's marketplace, including:

  • What jobs posts must include, should include, and what makes them good
  • The 5 core objectives that we feel are leading the workforce revolution, and
  • Lastly what a successful employee retention plan should focus on

Come to learn from 3:00 - 4:15pm

Stay for a special NHRA happy hour afterwards at Dubh Linn from 4:15 - 6:00PM!
