Join us during this session as we explore how to create a more welcoming work environment for LGBTQ2+ identities. Participants will discuss self-expression from various lenses and explore ways of better supporting the LGBTQ2+ community. Time and space will also be created for attendees to ask questions they have and engage in dialogue with others.
Objectives:
- Learn terminology associated with minoritized gender and sexual identities
- Broaden personal understandings of what issues and barriers impact LGBTQ2+ people
- Explore in community ways to better support employees of minoritized gender and sexual identities

Presenter Bio:
T works at UW-Superior as the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Coordinator for Gender and Sexuality Programs. They identify as a white, queer, nonbinary trans person, whose passions range from personal identity work to developing better practices of community care. T has worked in gender and sexuality programming for just over five years, with their passion and many examples coming from their own lived experience as a queer person.
