College Relations (Heather Duval absent):

Community Involvement (Steve Korby and Tracy Larsen): Golf outing is scheduled for Monday, July 13th, at 2:30pm. Agreed to ask Kim to coordinate door prizes, which will be raffled through participant ticket sales. Steve will purchase trophies.

Diversity (Linda Olcott):

Linda suggested making May "Diversity Month". She has already lined up a speaker for May 2010.

HRCI Certification (Kathy Chalupsky):

The study group is done for the summer and will pick up again in the fall to prepare for the December test.

Membership (Terri McGillvrey):

• Agreed to contact the Duluth Chamber for details on hosting a Business After Hours meeting.
• Terri is the Director of the 2010 state conference, and our chapter is hosting it in Duluth. We can expect 500 to 600 attendees. Discussed making the theme, "HR: Building Bridges for Success". We need to set up committees, the first of which will be to choose speakers. We will email the full membership and ask for volunteers.

Legislative and Government Affairs (Wayne Lindberg):

Wayne didn't have any updates for the group.

Marketing (Patricia Stolee:

• Patricia wrote the website privacy policy and chapter tag line. Both have been added to all relevant areas of the Website.
• She is looking for photos to use on the site. Email any you may have to her.

Professional Development (Laurie Pinther):

• Fall Conference: Nearly all of the necessary speakers have been booked. The date is still to be nailed down based on venue availability.
